Soul Sisters

Transfers happened. I stayed. We cover 7 wards. I got a new comp SISTER WEED. Wow. I've always wondered what it would be like to have a companion who is just like me. Well let me tell you... it's the best thing ever. Sis. Weed is 6 feet tall, works out with me in the mornings, loves sports, is willing to do and try new things, is so good at staying in the moment, loves to laugh, never gets tired of talking about the gospel, knows how important it is to pray like it's up to God and THEN work like it's up to you, and reminds me so much of my cousin Bethany. (and I LOVE AND MISS MY COUSIN BETHANY) Our days have been one constant working grind and God has been so good to us and has been pouring revelation for us and our area down upon us. I know that we are going to see more success than ever because of the way we are working the cycle to LET IT RAIN. I wish I had time to expound and tell you all more about what that means, but that is something that might just have to wait. Because WE GOT THINGS TO DO TODAY! I will just say that sincere daily repentance and intentful focused praying with a notepad and pen are two of the greatest ways we have found to open the floodgates of Heaven. I've been hearing Him more than ever this week. This is God's work and I am so grateful that He saw fit to bless me with a transfer like this one is going to be so close to the end of my mission. The things I am learning are going to bless me for the rest of my life and into the eternities. God really is so willing to reveal His will to us, we need only to humble ourselves and ask, then act, then thank Him, and record what He says and start the process all over again! He gets credit for each and every miracle we have seen this week. And they have not been few, nor will they be. Yes Dad, this has been thee best week of my life. And that's not even one of my exaggerations. I want anyone who reads this to try something. Pull out a notepad. Get on your knees. Ask God to tell you who it is that you need to reach out to and connect with THIS WEEK. Write down the first name that comes to your mind. Act on it. Ask how they are doing, or if they need anything, or tell then you felt inspired to share something with them. Then write down what happens and actively look for God's hand in your life and in the life of the person you reached out to. I promise you'll feel enlightened and empowered by Heaven's hand. And you will start to better understand how He speaks to you and how important it is to listen. "This is the principle on which the Government of Heaven is conducted. By revelation adapted to the circumstances in which the Children of the Kingdom of Heaven are placed." (PMG ch.4) - Sister Hardy

Hey Fam!! Holy cow I've been here a solid half an hour maybe and I already LOVE it. It's so fun. My companion is sister Stoddard from Minneapolis and she is so funny and nice! She says she doesn't sport much and just barely said "ok so don't take candy from strangers but like... burritos are fine." She says she has a friend sending her a burrito in the mail. She's going to be awesome. Dane one of my teachers is from Africa and he's the most hilarious guy I have ever met in my life no joke. He says he plays ALOT of 2k and I was the only one who understood what he was talking about when he was talking and he thought that was awesome so thank you for that! Anyways they really throw you right into things here I threw my bags on my bottom bunk that I claimed and am headed straight to class! I LOVE YOU GUYS Also my P-day is Tuesday! THE DISTRICT - Episode 1

Hello everybody! I have so much to say and so little time so first of all THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR EMAILS. I can read them all throughout the week but can only reply on Tuesday (pday) but they've been such a strength and blessing to me! I will try to reply to all of them but for real I've really appreciated each and every one. They saved me this first crazy week! And your prayers, I can feel them! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. You guys, being a missionary is the best thing that's ever happened to me. And the MTC is so great I absolutely love it here. I've seen so many people I know including Elder Ash from good old C town, sister Zobell and Elder Noad from magrath, lots of friends from byu, and my 2nd cousin Elder Hardy from Vancouver! Elder Ash and Elder Hardy are in my zone actually so that's way cool and so crazy what are he odds of that!?
