Letter from Palmers

Dear Brother and Sister Hardy, We enjoyed a delightful day yesterday taking your daughter and others to the Snowflake Arizona Temple. I told Sister Hardy I would send you a couple of the photos. She leaves to a new area today and we will REALLY miss her! I gave her a letter as she left and have attached it for you as you two are responsible for the wonderful blessing she has been in our lives. We look forward to the day we get to meet you and come to know you better. Thank you for who you are and for sending your sweet daughter to us. With love, Tom & Gretna Palmer 27 January 2020 Dear Sister Hardy, The Palmer family – and all of Flagstaff – have been blessed these past months by your angelic ministry among us. As Elder Jeffrey R. Holland of the Quorum of Twelve Apostles stated in October 2008 General Conference, “From the beginning down through the dispensations, God has used angels as His emissaries in conveying love and concern for His children.” ...

Or He will lead them to you

Hey all!! This weeks happenings: I was blessed with an exchange in Sedona with Hermana Asay my fav missionary ever. We had WAY too much fun. Seeonites are WHACK but so fun to talk to. We also saw this crazy miracle. We wanted to go contacting at the dog park because everyone goes there, and we set a goal to find someone through their dog Haha. But before we planned to go there, we were studying outside the church on the lawn. All of a sudden this dog comes running up to us. Its owner was not far behind and she came up to get her dog and meet us. We introduced ourselves and told her what we were doing and she instantly told us that she was Methodist, but that she didn't agree with anything they teach and how every religion in the world is corrupt and how she wishes there was one with the complete truth and no corruption. So of course we went into the restoration and taught the whole thing right there. She was kind and listened and said she liked it but walked away. Almost an hour la...

Find them that receive you

I am sorry in advance for the picture attached below. How was I supposed to know that as soon as I pulled out my camera good ol Gurtie the pig would turn her backside to the camera and start making a scene? This week was a good one full of Interviews, received revelation, funny moments, and of course MIRACLES. One I wanted to share with you all. This week we had a crazy big snowstorm, the likes of which happen almost daily back home. We were out during our hour of power (where every missionary in our mission is out finding) and we were lead to this street in the corner of our area that I had never been to, and we felt very inspired to be there. We knocked on a few houses at the beginning of the street and then left, but ended up having to go back because sister Christensen lost her glove on this particular street. By that time though we were running late for our next appointment and we again left the street. While this is happening the Hermanas who stay with us when they come up to...

One among the many - JESUS2020

I'm excited for all the #2020vision emails that will be coming out today. I think most of my friends will agree that when we had our last get together in the Atwood's backyard and one by one left to embark on this journey that we had no idea how incredible it would be. I am changed forever because of my decision to serve, and I can't wait to see what God has for me to learn this year. Grateful doesn't even begin to cut it. I also am positive that this is the greatest time to be alive in the history of ever. I think that back in Heaven when God told us that we would be coming to Earth in the last days that jaws dropped, and I probably stood up and yelled "SUB ME IN COACH!" We are so privileged to be on the front lines of God's greatest work and part of the gathering of Israel. Best way to bring in the new year is as a missionary. Yes we did drink lots of martinellis and yes we still went to bed at 10:30. If you haven't decided to serve a misison, do it ...
