Consistently and Resiliently Happy

What a week. Here is the highlight reel! First off, I butchered my first Elk. And it was AWESOME. Literally living my dream up here. All day everyday. Flagstaff is my fav. The whole Phoenix suns basketball team showed up to the food bank that we volunteer at which was so cool! Dane, you would've been in heaven. We trackted into a Masonic missionary base in between conference sessions and found 2 new people to teach! That's all I have to say about that. They opened the door and said "oh, you're missionaries? We are too!" #samesamebutdifferent but they are interested! Conference was so good. If you didn't get a chance to watch it please go back and watch! The messages shared have the power to change your life if you let them lead you to ACT. I had so many takeaways. I loved the quote that living and sharing the gospel will make you consistently and resiliently happy. I've been trying to find the right words for the kind of happiness I've experienced as a missionary, and they hit it spot on. This happy is consistent and resilient. That is all for this week! I challenge you all to SHARE what you learned from conference. Make it matter. And I don't mean just throw it up on social media, that is good too, but pray and ponder who needs it and share it with them. I want to hear how your gospel sharing is going back home! We are all a team here as we work together to gather Israel. You too can find consistent and resilient happiness as you live and share the gospel of Jesus Christ! Also the no holding kids rule is hard, really hard. Especially with Jaden, my little best friend. This picture sums it up. I'm thankful for all the amazing people I keep meeting up here! Hey Fam!! Holy cow I've been here a solid half an hour maybe and I already LOVE it. It's so fun. My companion is sister Stoddard from Minneapolis and she is so funny and nice! She says she doesn't sport much and just barely said "ok so don't take candy from strangers but like... burritos are fine." She says she has a friend sending her a burrito in the mail. She's going to be awesome. Dane one of my teachers is from Africa and he's the most hilarious guy I have ever met in my life no joke. He says he plays ALOT of 2k and I was the only one who understood what he was talking about when he was talking and he thought that was awesome so thank you for that! Anyways they really throw you right into things here I threw my bags on my bottom bunk that I claimed and am headed straight to class! I LOVE YOU GUYS Also my P-day is Tuesday! THE DISTRICT - Episode 1

Hello everybody! I have so much to say and so little time so first of all THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR EMAILS. I can read them all throughout the week but can only reply on Tuesday (pday) but they've been such a strength and blessing to me! I will try to reply to all of them but for real I've really appreciated each and every one. They saved me this first crazy week! And your prayers, I can feel them! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU. You guys, being a missionary is the best thing that's ever happened to me. And the MTC is so great I absolutely love it here. I've seen so many people I know including Elder Ash from good old C town, sister Zobell and Elder Noad from magrath, lots of friends from byu, and my 2nd cousin Elder Hardy from Vancouver!
